In 1299 Bertrand de Goth， bishop of the Comminges received as a gift from his brother B・・raud de Goth a property planted with vines in Pessac， then called vineyard of La Mothe， In 1305， Bertrand de Got was elected pope and took the name of Clement V. He built a residence on the estate and his successors continued to manage his vineyard with great care until the French Revolution of 1789 under the name of "Vignes du Pape Cl・・ment".The precocity of the harvest in 1305 at that time made the singularity of the Ch・・teau and this is how this vineyard was one of the first of France where it was decided to align the vines in r・・ges to facilitate the ploughing of the soil.Varieties : Cabernet Sauvignon， Merlot.Wine Score : 90/10075cl x 12
